Four Fish On A Table
Each of these fish is painted on a thin poplar board I cut at the lumber yard where I work. Even I want a break from snakes now and then.

Zen And The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance
Just outside Duck, North Carolina, three days into a ride with my son. We were riding a BMW K1200RS. We rode across North Carolina, up and down the Outer Banks and on into Virginia, ate lots of good BBQ and seafood, climbed a Forest Service Fire Tower, and rode all the way home from Kinston in the pouring rain.

Whirlygig On A Table
My whirlygigs are made of either Wild Cherry or Dogwood bases and almost always have a Honeysuckle Vine snake twined round and round. The top is made of aluminum that I cut and paint, the red star is of tin. If you light a candle under one of my whirlygigs, the fan starts to turn. Whirlygigs are among my favorite things to make.
